Box braids
Box braids for hair growth and hair maintenance
Protect your locks and make your hair growBox braids falls under protective braids like knotless braids and it helps prevent scalp damage, hair breakage, encourages hair growth and is cheaper than knotless braids.
How it works
The traditional method for placing box braids is fairly simple. A box is made on your scalp, this can be in various shapes (round, square or triangular, heart,…and sizes. Next, fake hair is wrapped around the base of you natural hair by making a knot on the scalp. After braiding, the braids at the bottom are dabbed in warm water.
How long can you keep it in?
4-10 weeks, but depending on how well you take care of them they can last a little longer.
If you are looking for a style that keeps your hair protected while you look stunning then this is the style for you.

De cons of Box braids
Can cause hair breakage and breakage around the baby hairs, likely to break off your real hair
They can feel very heavy. Depending on how thick, many and long the fleeces are, they can feel like a ton on your head, making it very difficult to sleep and style with them.
They are not the best for your baby hair-I repeat, not good for your baby hair.
